Operator portal & AI audit engine

A multi-property hospitality operator

A consulting firm ran property audits on paper and spreadsheets. We built the portal, the on-site audit flow, and an AI engine that turns raw field data into decision-ready briefs.

The challenge

Where it started

Auditors walked properties with clipboards, then spent days keying notes into spreadsheets and hand-writing summaries. Nothing was searchable, scores drifted between reviewers, and the partners had no live view of the portfolio. The knowledge lived in people’s heads and PDFs.

The approach

How we built it

  1. 01

    Model the audit

We turned the paper checklist into a structured, versioned scoring model — so every property is measured the same way and results are comparable over time.

  2. 02

    Build the field flow

A fast, mobile-first audit interface: tap to score, attach photos, dictate notes. Auditors finish on-site instead of re-entering everything later.

  3. 03

    Wire the AI brain

Field data flows into a retrieval layer that drafts the property brief — findings, risks, and recommended actions — for a human to review and send.

  4. 04

    Give partners command

A portfolio dashboard rolls scores up across properties, flags outliers, and lets partners drill from a red flag to the exact audit line that caused it.

The outcome

What changed

Audits now close the same day they’re run. Briefs that took a consultant half a day are drafted in minutes and reviewed, not written, from scratch. The partners run the whole portfolio from one screen — and the scoring model keeps every reviewer honest.

It replaced three tools and a week of manual work. Our auditors do the audit; the platform does the paperwork.
